I have a PC with a 3.2 ghz Intel 2500k CPU, Intel DZ68DB motherboard, and 8 GB of memory running Windows 7 x64 . I've been trying to activate Powerdvd 13 retail. After I install it it asks for the activation key and I enter it and hit the Activate botton. I get a successful activation message. But when I start Powerdvd the next time, the Activate box pops up again with my Activation key already filled in. If I try to activate Powerdvd again, I get the following message:
'You have already activated your copy of Cyberlink PowerDVD. You cannot upgrade to the same version or to a lower version of the software.' Any ideas as to what's wrong?

You have two threads going with two different versions. What do you have and what is the major problem -- or do you have both?
It is confusing to other people when you start multiple threads with different versions and different issues. One at a time would be much better or you could explain why the one is related to the other.
Thanks ! .

I own the retail versions of PowerDVD 11, 12, and 13 Ultra. I've been trting to get them to work on my HTPC and I tried them one after the other and none of them worked albeit for differen reasons. I'm just trying to get programs I paid for to work.

I have the Full installer but seems that there is no place to enter my key. My e-mail jcase44@austin.rr.com has been disconnected due to a move, I can be reached at jenniferscase@gmail.com. Anyway This reinstall has me in a bind as Windows was acting funny, not allowing things to work, making the system unresponsive, So I formatted the drive, and have been reinstalling my programs. I have all my keyfiles saved on other drives when my system goes wonky like that. I have my key now but no place to enter it into the program claiming it is a Trial and not the full installer MSI Z77A-GD65 MSI GTX 770 x2 I7 3770 16GB DDR3 1600 6TB Drive Space 2 Optical - Pioneer BDR DVD-r/+r/RW RAM - LG 3D Blue Ray Writer RE RW ROM DVD R RW RAM

Tika :
1) Never ever put your e-mail on line unless you just love spam. Edit your post to remove it. No one from the forums will e-mail you anyway. They would use the PM (private message) function at the top of the page.
2) Never add your problems to someone else's thread. It will and has cause confusion because no one knows who is responding to whom. I would do a Windows copy of your post and start a new thread with the copied text minus the e-mail information.
